Everyday Stories, Lived

It’s nice to be back

in

In a previous blog post (with bonus short-form audio), I’ve already shared what it felt for me to take engineering for undergrad.

I even shared with you what it felt like to go back to the place I used to spend those five years getting through the motions of college life.

But seeing the teachers I used to be afraid of (our of respect and awe) in a different light, as individuals who have families and people who’d like to help the next generation find the way to their dreams, my heart felt the joy of seeing them again.

This time, I felt more proud to talk with them again, and being around them reminded me that I’m here because they helped me become who I am today.

And it’s nice to be back at the university too. What once was dilapidated and neglected now looked polished and kept. Seldom did I see regression as the years went on. Most likely, things progressed for the better.

It’s really nice to be back to where I used to dream for my future too. And now that I am in that future, I am filled with hope of becoming even a better me in the next ten years.
