There may be many things that you’ve done in the past that keep you from moving on. However, there is a need for you to let them go for you to move forward.
Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing,
Now it will spring forth;
Will you not be aware of it?
I will even put a road in the wilderness,
Rivers in the desert.

Even if starting again means starting new, it’s a comfort to remember that the Lord walks ahead of us. It’s easy to be afraid of the uncertainties of new growth and new seasons, but when we acknowledge Jesus, he makes our paths straight.
5 Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart
And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
6 In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him,
And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].
