We only live in isolation in our minds.
But whatever we do or do not do, affects others around us in one way or another.
I remember the saying from one of my energy economics classes, “A rising tide lifts all boats.” So often attributed to economies, I can’t help but also relate it with how our yearning to create a liveable world today makes it a better world for our neighbors and the people of tomorrow.
I am not just talking about sustainable development. I also talking about climate change. And it is experienced differently across the globe.
If the decisions we make today are made because we care about our children and their children, then we’d be in constant tension to do something.
But first comes awareness.

It’s not too late to do something if we start to respond to that tension now.
