How does one waste a life anyway?
By seeking momentary pleasures and not thinking of what should be done today that can make tomorrow better.
I remember a girl who had just turned sixteen, who failed to grasp reality and failed to hope for a life worth living. The kind of life that glorifies and honors the Lord.
She drifted away, slowly degenerating, simply because she stopped thinking about tomorrow. Then, perhaps, she lost hope.
And how losing one’s hope becomes self-destructive indeed.
