Reading a novel, watching a movie

1–2 minutes

Reading a novel pushes your mind to imagine things based on how you interpret the words of its author.

But seeing its interpretation in a motion picture makes the story more alive.

It’s a bonus to see it in the movie just as you imagined. All the better when your mind is opened to new ways of seeing it.

P.S.:

I’m actually thinking about Station Eleven. The book is fantastic, and the tv mini-series is even incredible. I appreciate how they’re the same and different and admire the creative minds who made them happen.
