The Perfectionist Badge

It’s funny how I suddenly received the Perfectionist badge from WordPress after doing more than 100 revisions to a blog post I started writing in November 2025.

I hadn’t realized that I’ve already gone through more than a hundred revisions. The main reason I kept coming back to this single post, which remains unpublished, was that the story kept transforming, and I was mostly waiting for certain parts to actually come to life so I could write about it in full. I was writing a story in progress.

So when I received the badge, I found it hilarious at first. But then it reminded me of the beauty of the blog post’s transformation into what it is today. I’m even excited to publish it, once I finally have the final piece that would complete the story—hopefully by fall this year.

Will a lot of people read it? I don’t know. But I just hope it finds the right people who might be inspired by my story and never give up on their own dreams.
