Letter no. 36

1–2 minutes

Dear reader from the future,

I have just finished my work assessment exam for my dream job today.

What does a dream job look like? Well, at least for me, a dream job is something I’ve been aiming to get, and while in the waiting, I acquired all the necessary qualifications (both knowingly and unknowingly) to become eligible for that job.

How did the exam go?

It was intense! I felt the tension gripping up on me and the stress screaming at me. But I guess that’s the point. To measure how you cope with stress and assess if you can still think clearly under pressure.

Will I get the job?

There’s one way to find out!

And the reason why I want to write to you is because you already know how this story ends (or begins!). And it would be nice to have this letter to return to once I get to where you already are.

Aren’t fulfilled dreams sweet when we revisit them in our memories?

I wish I could see what you see. I wish you could tell me things. Yet, I am well contented to be still here, waiting for my future to unfold one day at a time.

See you in the future!

Your letter writer from the past,
Jessa
