I admire people in leadership roles who can spell out the things they want to be accomplished. These kinds of people are really capable of leading the way. Because how can one lead without knowing where to go, right?
In the same way, if you want to achieve something (or you already know where to go next), you must also be able to lay out the things you must do to get there.
Do you want to advance your career, learn a new skill, or improve your social relationships? Then be specific with what you want to accomplish, and even remove the distractions that keep you from making these things happen.
Telling yourself, “Here is what we need to do,” could help you visualize at least the immediate steps you must take to be the person you want to become.
