“Self-sufficiency” is the the anthem of the times.
But for those who trust the Lord, who is ever reliable in all situations, we must not neglect the God who enables us in all ways; He is the one who makes our desires to fruition.
However, not all desires bear good fruit. Desire lawlessness and you’ll eventually be consumed by it. Desire righteousness and you will have life and life more abundantly.
And if you are in the phase of your life where you want to move out from dip you are in, and move forward to what you know you ought to become, remember that it is the Lord who gives you the ability to become successful.
You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
Deuteronomy 8:18 (ESV)
