Sorry, I got carried away.
There are times when we allow our mouths to say things our rational brains wouldn’t, given the right amount of space to think.
But when we allow our emotions free rein and reign over us, we’d be surprised how they could even control the things we do, even if it would put us at a disadvantage–just because I feel like doing it.
And we might end up burning bridges in the process.
…one of the major problems with being ruled by our feelings: they go up and down all the time, depending on our circumstances. Our emotions react naturally to our experiences. And if how we respond is determined by what we feel, our behavior will show the lack of consistency. What we know to be right–and all our good intentions to walk the straight and narrow way–will be at the mercy of the passion of the moment.
