Letter no. 27

1–2 minutes

Dear reader from the future,

We’re still living our lives with face masks on, and the idea of crowded places still instills fear in us. Will I contract the virus? Does anyone in this area have it without them knowing?

But we are now going out more and more each day. It even felt like the days of hard lockdown were a thing of the past; we didn’t want to return there again. Covid-19 was a nightmare.

Yet, as we are starting to bounce back out of it, we are now finding ourselves against another threat—the monkeypox.

When will all these troubles end?

Jessa
