Reflections on becoming

Do you really have to be good in math?

in

People used to tell me that if you want to go to engineering, you have to be good at math.

Perhaps, it’s true. But it’s not everything.

And I am glad I only took their advice lightly.

Here’s my story in short-form audio.

So if you want to pursue engineering, don’t think that being good in math guarantees you success.

It doesn’t.

Because success isn’t as straightforward as that.

But keep in mind that a strong mathematical background does not–I repeat, does not– guarantee success in science.
