Buying gifts: who’s it for?

When we buy gifts, often our choices reflect our desires, thinking that the person we’re planning to give it to would appreciate it like we do.

However, our internal narratives don’t necessarily resonate with them. Even if they are someone we consider family.

Because when we seek to serve others, we need to consider their desires too, even above our own.
