Have you ever wondered how your bosses can quickly provide comments on your recent submission and how their feedback makes a lot of sense?

And you’d be like, “How come I haven’t noticed it before?”

The thing is, people who know a lot have learned which aspects to look at first. Their experience saves them time and gives them the confidence to provide a clear perception of their situation.

I can recall how, during all the thesis final defense I’ve attended, the panel members can ask just the right questions and provide insightful comments.

And that’s where this thought holds true:

You can’t have insights about things you don’t know anything about.

So this is for all of us who are still in the early stages of our careers.

Time is our friend.

And it’s up to us to use it to our advantage, recognize our need to learn, put in the hours to acquire knowledge and wisdom, and become the experts tomorrow needs.
