If you are going through major life transitions, especially in these times where you feel like holding your breath is the only thing you can control, you might feel like you’re in a state of in-between.
And you’re not just floating.
It feels like you’re being nowhere, unsure of where to go or where opportunities might collide and lead you.
Being in a state of in between means being in some state of loneliness. Being neither here nor there often feels like being nowhere.
And being in this situation of neither here nor there often feels lonely.
So if this is where you are right now, then maybe, you might consider opening up yourself to someone you trust or look up to. Seek help lest you regret wasting your time for not doing so.
It’s also important to situate yourself where you only look forward instead of looking back on your past successes and failures. Because only by letting go of what was will you be able to move towards where you ought to be.
Let me share a passage from the Hebrew Bible that reminds me how God can also help us when we don’t know which way to go anymore.
Here it goes:
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you.
Psalm 32:8 AMP
And while you are in the waiting, and even when your heart is heavy, here’s what you can do.
