The world says that it’s okay to be foolish while you’re young because that’s how you are supposed to enjoy your youth. But how far can one’s stupidity go?
Looking back fifteen years ago, I can say that the choices you make while you are young affects who you become in the future. All the right decisions, the mistakes, and the ones you regret will be a part of you no matter what. There’s no ‘undo‘ button in life.
And I have observed that most of those who flourished in their field of choice decided to start something worth pursuing while young. Their headstart allowed them to iterate what works and let go of the ones that don’t. Yes, that’s right. Starting early pays.
So whatever it is that you want to grow ten years from now, start pursuing it today. It doesn’t have to be perfect right away. Because the wisdom you gain by doing the work drip by drip will make you better in the long run.
