“We no longer search for information. Instead, we google. And as we increasingly rely on Google for answers, so our ability to search for information by ourselves diminishes. Already today, ‘truth’ is defined by the top results of the Google search.

21 Lessons for the 21st Century

When was the last time you did not use Google to look for information?

Want to know how to fix the blue screen? Ask Google.
Want to know the trendy hairstyles this year? Ask Google.
Want to know how to spot people when lying? Ask Google.

We basically google for almost everything. And have you noticed how I used the name Google as a verb now? Most likely, you do, too, no matter where you are in the world.

And yes, most probably, you’ve never clicked the last page of the Google search, too, especially when you need the information, fast.

Can you imagine what life would be like after Google? And would you still know how to look for the right information you need, for truth, without Google?

What is truth?

I know — so many questions for one day. But I hope this made you think about how you’ve become so dependent on Google for answers.
