A lot has changed these days

1–2 minutes

From carefree travel, we are now mandated to wear face masks and shields all the time.

I am writing this from Metro Manila, Philippines. So if you are reading this from other parts of the globe, I wonder what traveling is like for you these days.

It takes a lot of energy to get used to things.

From a general perspective, the pandemic challenged our norms. In my country, the overhaul can be felt from transportation to the delivery of education. What used to be jam-packed trains are now comfortably spacious. Traditional learning was forced to morph into other forms, such as modules, online classes, and transmission via airwaves (television and radio).

Everything has been shaken.

And I think that those who resist change are the ones who will never see the other side. Because the more we resist change, the more we lose.

Instead, we need to learn to ride the waves.
