No one ever asked me to start this blog. Not a single one told me, “Please, start a blog right now. I like to hear from you.”
But I started anyway, six years ago. Not because I have to but because I want to. I did not wait for someone to choose me and say, “Show me your work.”
I waited for no one.
Instead, I showed up.
And if you are reading this, you stumbled upon my nth iteration of putting up a blog that works. But like every other iteration, the goal is to have better and better results.
There are also no perfect beginnings.
I did not start with what you see now. Today looks better after six years of trial and testing. But then, better is relative. My yesterday’s better is different from today’s version of better. So never compare your beginning to somebody else’s middle or end.
Beginnings can be lonely too.
But if you want to become better at something, start now. Begin your journey of becoming better until you become the best. Because becoming better is a process, not an end all be all.
There are also people out there who look forward to your work, but they don’t just know it yet. But by the moment you show up, they’d be delighted you did.
