Dear reader from the future,
With all that’s happening in my time, I couldn’t help but think about how things will converge or come about in the future, where you are.
The pandemic I’ve been telling you about in my past letters is getting an upsurge globally, and it’s not just about people dying all around the world. Upheavals are also throwing people out of their home countries. First, there was Hong Kong, then Israel, and now, Afghanistan.
As I was going through my daily devotions, reading about uprisings and nations overthrowing one another, I learned that they are due to humanity’s great rebellion against the One True God. What’s comforting is knowing that the Lord sees and gives justice to all the nations. In that time, all nations will see that the Lord is sovereign above all governments and kingdoms and all that is yet to come.
I am writing this with the expectation of a future good.
And I hope that in your time, there’d be peace.
