Sun’s out, new day, fresh start.
I appreciate how our cat Novo hardly breaks his routine, and so I tag along with it, starting my days early (unless deep sleep has its hands around me) and being in that slim pocket of solemn peace and unhurried time of the day.
New days let us forget the nightmares we had and the things we want to move on from, things from the past that have dimmed our days.
Moving on from people?
A new day may not suffice. But distance can sever the attachment, and let their memories become mere white noise in our minds. We can choose not to be bothered by them by allowing ourselves to forget.
New days let us forget.
I like new days.
