When I was planting seeds, I never really considered how much time it would take for the seeds to grow. I was just hopeful that they will.
While some promised immediate returns, others could lay silently under the earth for years and decades even when you keep watering them.
I kept watering the ones that remained planted, even occasionally or as my human time allowed.
I also learned that we don’t always have to be the ones to water the seeds we planted. Others can too after we have moved on to the next patch of good soil—like a team effort stretched through time.
Eventually, we’ll find that seed growing up and deep, reminding us that we have been a part of its growth.
Actions ripple through time and space and it only takes one soul to care for others.
