Have you ever thought about building habits this year?
If yes, I just read from a journal article on the psychology of habit that you could create a set of habits as you pursue a goal.
Given that everyday habits develop as people go about pursuing life goals, habit formation is closely intertwined with goal pursuit.

Since habit formation and goal pursuit go hand in hand, you can say that just having a goal of having healthy teeth this year could encourage you to brush your teeth regularly.
In short, if you don’t know where you’re going, you won’t be compelled to create habits that can help you maximize your potential, and so end up living a mediocre life. And what we do accumulates.
But, if you decided to pursue your goals and create good habits this year, just remember that if you want to build and sustain a habit, guilt-tripping is not an excellent way to start.
