Reflections on becoming

Imagined difficulties

in

When you are unwilling to do work, even lifting your hand to feed yourself, your mind can do wonders imagining difficulties that don’t exist.

The gravity’s pull feels too strong to get out of bed and do something with your life. Because you’d rather rot doing nothing than exert effort and live as a person should.

This might resonate with you:

The sluggard says, “There is a lion in the road!
A lion is in the open square!”
Proverbs 26:13 (NASB1995)

If you’ve embraced lethargy as a way of life, you shouldn’t be surprised when you don’t see yourself progress. Because you refuse to work, you’re left with your want consuming you.
