How do you know you can’t?
Hearing stories from someone who, because of dreams and ambitions, found practical ways and inventive solutions to reach her goals. Indeed, we always have to start somewhere, and for some of us, starting somewhere might mean starting from the bottom. But it shouldn’t deter one from pursuing their dreams and ambitions just because the start seems unpromising.
I was told that when you think about events in your life as temporary, you don’t feel bad when you are way behind the people you look up to. Opportunities are always abundant for those who never stop looking for them. She said that trusting the Lord to work on the things we don’t have control over while we work on the things we do always bears fruit. There’s always a harvest after you put in the labor.
But then, it all begins from your perspective on life, whether you have access to opportunities or not. Because if you are someone who always thinks that the opportunities for you are limited, then you might eventually lack the motivation and direction to pursue the purpose God has given you to do. You might even feel stagnant when you don’t look for opportunities and just let things happen to you, resulting in reduced satisfaction and growth, like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
