Reflections on becoming

Asking (stupid) questions

in

Unlike children, we don’t ask questions because we feel stupid asking them. We are afraid that others will see us stupid for asking questions. Because we think that, as adults, we should already know a lot.

So some of us might wonder what would happen only if we asked. And will we ever know? Sure, we won’t unless we brave it out, asking (stupid) questions.

But how stupid is stupid?

If you want to know about a topic because you are honestly clueless about it, then ask. Gaining knowledge is better than lurking in the dark, pretending that you know (just because you are afraid to ask).
