If someone, say your boss, is dissatisfied with your work, they either have ill will towards you or you simply did a poor job.
In most cases, it’s the latter.
The thing is, it’s easier to do sloppy work than to do an outstanding one.
Sloppy work is about compliance at the primary level. On the other hand, producing outstanding work requires emotional labor on top of your hard work. It’s more likely you value your reputation, that is why you want to do the best you can.
So, if you want to be promoted to the next level, make yourself worthy. Let your work speak volumes.
I already made the mistake of doing sloppy work. It’s mainly because my priorities were not aligned with what matters long-term. I hope you won’t repeat the same mistake I did.
