While preparing for our trip, I turned to social media to find an island tour/activity coordinator. After being convinced by the collective reviews and photos, I inquired; following further clarifications, we settled for a 13% downpayment and arranged our schedule of activities.
During our first meeting, we exchanged a few greetings and went right on to business. Since it was a leisure activity, we trust that the coordinator we hired would do his job the same way he expected us to pay him in full.
So, our initial apprehensions were resolved when we met him in person. The next cloud of doubt was blown away after all the provisions in our agreement were met.
When we exchanged goodbyes and smiles under our sun-tanned skins, I realized that a successful transaction requires mutual trust.
