Some people working in the government understand their role in society. And often, they extend their help even when they have to do extra. These kinds of people don’t just work because of the pay they receive but because they want to serve the people.
I have met a helpful government employee, catering to our needs and, even more, anticipating the things we never asked for but are necessary. I’d be forever grateful to these kinds of people.
But then, if we want to be like that government employee I met, we should also be willing to give extra, even at the cost of our convenience, as long as it is honest work.
