How did I build the habit of writing daily?
By sticking to the schedule even when I don’t feel like it.
There are times when I don’t feel like writing anything, especially when I’m caught up with the demands of life. And that often leads to missed days, and I still try to address these backlogs. I even missed a whole month of blogging daily because I could not juggle anymore the things I chose to do while preparing for our wedding.
There are also days when I feel like writing more than one blog post in a day, so I schedule the others for the following days. But these days, I’m still catching up.
Despite all those things, here we are!
This blog post makes it the first after a thousand, and I’m so glad you’re still here with me too. Some might have left, but some remained, and that includes you!
Wondering where do I ever get all these ideas which I write about. I often draw out from experiences. When there’s nothing to squeeze out from there, I write about the things I’ve read and learned.
Why do I do what I do? After building the habit of writing, I can now write quickly (and perhaps, better) than where I was a day before and a day before that, and so on. I hope this skill will extend to academic writing, as well as converting my thoughts into words as fast as possible.
It has been an incredible journey so far! You should consider building the habit of writing too!
For now, to more one-sided conversations and thought-provoking stories about life, work, and the future. And hopefully, I’d still be here to celebrate with you the third year of blogging daily.
