Everyday Stories, Lived

Moving out, moving in

in

We could accumulate stuff over time. Some are even capable of almost stripping themselves bare with only necessities, making it easy for them to pack up and move out.

But in my experience, I acquire stuff that helps my daily routine become manageable, including acquiring organizers and shelves just to put things in place. The next thing I know, I’ve gathered too much stuff that makes it challenging as a transient person.

Isn’t it always time-consuming moving out, more when moving in? Why? Because, at least for me, it takes time to arrange all the stuff and position them to the corners and edges of the new place in a pleasant way.

And the desire to make the new place something you could call your own and relax after a long day takes careful thought and curation.
