If you haven’t made up your mind about the things you want, alternatives (could be second bests) become distractions. And if you find yourself sidetracked from what you want to achieve, it could be too late after you’ve wasted so much time that going back to where you’re supposed to be seems absurd.
Opportunity costs.
If your dreams are worth going back to, then go back to what you hope to do. Because staying where you don’t grow and flourish could be much worse than getting back on track.
