There are things left behind by the people from our past that keep us from moving froward today.
And like ghost nets, we don’t quite understand what got us. We only know how to flail and exhaust ourselves trying to escape an invisible force holding us back.
It would be fortunate to have someone see the tangle we are in and help us out. But often, other people feel as trapped as we are, with the voices inside their heads.
So what’s left for us to do?
I learned that in the place of seeking, there is a compassionate God who sees all our worries and our fears. Out of His compassion, He extends a helping hand to those who seek Him, like a mother caring for a child.
