In my part of the world, literally and figuratively, people are getting busy for New Year’s Eve. While others are busy cooking and preparing their dishes for everyone to share, others are out of town and already in the party mood.
But despite all the movements and activities, every family yearns to share the momentous night with the people they value and care for. And beyond all the feisty dishes served on celebratory plates, it’s the togetherness that counts.
Being in a Christian household, I appreciate the joyfulness and thankfulness of our hearts toward God’s faithfulness. And there’s a kind of unity that only Jesus can provide.
