Today, in this part of the world where I am, marks the first day of December. And that means that Christmas Day would just be a few weeks from now.
In our Filipino culture, Christmas always means reuniting with our loved ones on the holidays. It’s also a time when our generosity especially abounds, extending gifts to the people we care about, regardless of the status quo.
And starting December, we can feel the emotions shift at work too.
People are now more carefree than they used to be a month ago.
Perhaps, it is the idea of a long break that gives the mind space to breathe.
Because on Christmas break, we stop working for money.
We just relish the celebration and be in the moment with family and friends.
Spending the same time with your family founded in Jesus Christ is also wonderful.
