Reflections on becoming

Getting to know each other at the dining table

in

Many things could happen when you are sharing a meal with a person, much more with a group of people you only met that day.

Can you please pass the soy sauce?

And a witty remark from the song playing in the background could make the entire group laugh.

As the mood lightens up when everyone is enjoying the meal, ideas begin to jump off from one person to another, like the dishes being passed from one person to the next.

The dining table is a good ice breaker.

No wonder why locals would want you to share a meal with them in the best restaurant in town.

They want to get to know you more as much as you’d like to get to know them too.
