Mature people

in

If you are somebody who leaves all kinds of leftovers in the sink, who do you think would clean it up?

Do you think that by just leaving it, and you find it clean the next day, it magically cleaned itself up?

And do you think you won’t have a stinky sink if you continue with the habit?

How does that reflect your attitude towards things you do not own but share responsibility for keeping them tidy?

Does that mean you are irresponsible?

And when somebody cleans it up after you leave a mess, does that allow you to keep doing what you’re not supposed to do just because somebody does it for you?

And what if that person cleans the sink not because of you but because that same person holds accountability and honors the shared responsibility?

You know that it goes beyond who leaves a mess and who cleans up after.

It’s also about maturity.

Because mature people are responsible people.
