Pre-pandemic, we don’t mind people coughing in public and confined places as much as we do now.
I remember how my cousin coughed in the elevator with at most five people. And it wasn’t even a cough like that; he just cleared his throat from the fruit shake that seemed to get stuck in his throat. So you can imagine what happened, yes?
People in the elevator felt uneasy, and the atmosphere felt even stiffer than it already is. And yes, the eyes begin to roll in my cousin’s direction.
We can’t just cough freely out in public these days, yes?
