While doing my daily devotions, hearing about how “there’s no way to photograph the hard stuff” reminded me of the superficiality of building your image. How often do we put up things online that put us in a bad light?
As I was typing this, trying to catch up with all the backlogs, you don’t see all the sleepless nights I’ve poured just to finish everything I have to do.
We don’t see each other’s frustrations and fears.
We only hear ourselves constantly talking about ourselves, making it difficult to hear how others are actually doing.
Indeed, we often see the tip-of-the-iceberg success of others without deeply knowing how they got there–the sacrifices and the pain.
Yes, there’s no way to photograph the hard stuff.
