Reflections on becoming

Look at us, building our lives back

in

It’s amazing how we were taught to remember God’s faithfulness in our lives at church–how God has provided everything we need in the past and how He can deliver us today and in the future.

Psalm 77:11-12 AMP
11 I will [earnestly] recall the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will [earnestly] remember the wonders [You performed for our fathers] of old.
12 I will meditate also upon all Your works and consider all Your [mighty] deeds.

And to recall isn’t just thinking about a memory you had but to utter, speak, and meditate on what the Lord has done in our lives.

During the early days of the pandemic, as a church, we reminded ourselves of God’s faithfulness by going through Psalm 91 again and again and again.

Now, two years after our country started with lockdowns and quarantine, I can go out again to public places and see many people. I can feel how we are bouncing back to a new beginning.

Indeed, God has been faithful.
