Something feels wrong. Very wrong.
As I was thinking about what to do next, or perhaps, how to best make use of my time, I paused.
Not that I have to, but it seemed the right thing to do at the time.
I wondered why I always felt I needed to hurry to do the next thing that makes me efficient. So that instead of becoming a human with the liberty to think and pause, I actually feel guilty about taking a break.
So many things to catch up on, yes?
There’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, my blog stats; what did I miss?
I already feel tired of always keeping up with the most recent events around me. Have you ever felt the same thing?
And because there are so many things we can actually use our time with, some of us get stuck with choices. So that instead of doing the things that really add value to the people we seek to serve, we end up scrolling through our social media feeds because it’s way easier than starting a new project or even finishing one.
