With a new year closing in, our minds begin to wander in a break, just in tune with the festivities.
Can you remember how you used to squeeze up the work you needed to do just so you could make more room during the holidays?
And with workdays sandwiched in-between Christmas and New Year, we easily muster excuses not to do the work. But, of course, we always have the whole year next year, don’t we?
I don’t know for you, but it has become a struggle for me these days.
Going back to the rhythm of work takes a lot of focus and intention that makes me wonder how far have I gone away.
Do you feel the same way too?
The thing is, consistency doesn’t take a break.
If you are looking forward to having access to more opportunities this coming new year, then you must have the following (as I wrote in my previous blog post):
- initiative
- consistency
- productivity
Perhaps, making the holidays an excuse not to do these things is a lame one.
