Seeing lots of children in a family gathering, I wonder how couples endure the hills and valleys of rearing children. Especially when they are becoming difficult. (Haven’t we been all?)
And isn’t it already too much to care about others beyond yourself?
However, I have to admit, that my inclination towards raising a family of my own is driven by the desire to know and be known.
And wouldn’t it be humbling to see people, on top of their unique personalities, who look and act just like you?
