What impressed me from today’s sermon was when Pastor Sumrall emphasized how sin doubles us down. It’s not satisfied with making us captive. It also wants to bring us down.
Truly, as John 10:10 AMP says, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy.”
But isn’t it wonderful to know that Jesus came to redeem us from the power of sin? It actually means having the ability to say no to sin and yes to Jesus.
From John 10:10 AMP: “I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]”
