When I was a kid, I always look forward to celebrating my birthday. Who doesn’t? Right?
When I was four, I think of being five. When I was nineteen, I think of being twenty. And now, I feel I am already 30. It’s as if my life is on a countdown while counting up.
Perhaps, you’re like me, always thinking about the future. And it’s not always a bad thing.
However, when you allow your future self, that version of you who is not here yet, nag about all the things going on in your life right now, you might be doing it wrong.
It’s one thing to look back to the future, and another to make the most at the present.
So, do not let your future self rob you of today’s joy.
If you’ve been feeling anxious these days (like I sometimes do), let me tell you that there is a cure for anxiety! Here it is.
