Fear, if allowed to rule, paralyzes you. Fear drains you out of hope and fuels you with anxiety.
In the face of fear, you must remember to stand firm, be confident, and undismayed, knowing that the Lord your God goes before you. I do not speak of any other gods of the nations but the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The One who took away the sin, the shame, the guilt, and the sickness away from us.
His Name is Jesus, the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
Knowing that the Lord will fight for you, you must decide to keep silent, remain calm, and move forward.
This is not about positive thinking or believing in your capacity to save yourself.
Instead, transcendence from fear only happens when you believe in someone more significant than you think you are. It is the Lord Jesus Christ who should be your source of hope and strength.
Exodus 14:13-16 AMP
13 Then Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid! Take your stand [be firm and confident and undismayed] and see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish for you today; for those Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see again.
14 The Lord will fight for you while you [only need to] keep silent and remain calm.”
15 The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to move forward [toward the sea].
16 As for you, lift up your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, so that the sons of Israel may go through the middle of the sea on dry land.
