When we were children, we look forward to life, thinking about the possibilities ahead of us. We believe we could be this or that. It’s all about what we could become.
But now that I am in my early adulthood, I realized that life is not “all about you.”
Maturity begins when you start to see life beyond your needs and wants.
And it also takes a lot of wisdom to do that.
Your future is not all about you.
So if you are planning to achieve something big in your future, you might as well plan big now. And it would help if you don’t plan things for your benefit alone.
I learned that in everything you do now, you should always think of the next generation. Because no matter how good your ideas are, without someone to pass the baton with, your plans die with you.
Your dreams are not all about you.
