We usually stop noticing the things we’re used to having.
The last time you drank your water, you did not bother thinking whether it is clean or not. You just know.
But the story is different for those who only knew about drinking dirty water. Those who live in dingy places also have other narratives than those who sleep comfortably in their air-conditioned rooms.
You wouldn’t really notice anything that’s going on around you if you are so busy with your own narrative about the world around you.
So how to start seeing things beyond yourself?
By looking outward.
You will only see people as they are the moment you decide to look beyond yourself.
