Then do something.
I learned that it’s one thing to dream and another to do something that will help you make it happen.
And often, dreaming about how something should happen is consuming. So that the more you pour your energy and emotions into it, but without actual work to make it happen, you may begin to feel incapable of achieving it.
It’s like watching a training video on riding a bike without putting your foot on the pedal and starting to bike. And after spending hours trying to perfect the idea, you will later learn that you should have started to put your hands on the wheels instead.
You may not be able to keep the pain out of the change you seek to make.
But then, doing something about it will always be better than doing nothing (to keep the pain away), especially when it’s something worth pursuing.
