Now, all I can think of (most of the time) is how to finish a task faster.
From What Children Lose When Their Brains Develop Too Fast:
Brains start out being more “plastic,” as neuroscientists say—more open to experience, better at learning. As we grow older, our brains become more efficient but less flexible, better at exploiting but not so good at exploring, better at acting effectively but not so good at doing new things.
And have you ever felt the pain of learning something new?
Perhaps, we need to remember what it was like to be a kid. Like people say we are always kids inside.
Here’s my tip on how to put it into practice.
(If you can), spend an hour just sitting outside your homes, feeling the brush of wind against your skin, listening to the sounds of whatever gets into your hearing. Observe more. And perhaps, you will find an amusing thing or two, like a bug or a neighbor (haha, you better get out sometimes) you never noticed before.
Most of my ideas come when I focus on nothing in particular.
And maybe, that’s how they’ll come to you too.
